Bonfire Night                                                                                 04/11/06
Carnoustie's bonfire night celebrations will begin at the House Grounds where a torch light parade will assemble and march to the Black Slab where the fireworks will take place.

Remembrance Service                                                                   12/11/06
During the Remembrance Service at Carnoustie War Memorial on November 12, the road will be closed, with the exception of two service buses which will be allowed through. Drivers are asked to be tolerant, and remember why the service is taking place.

Carnoustie Christmas Lights Swith On                                         01/12/06

The Christmas lights in Carnoustie will be switched on at the War Memorial on the 01/12/06 at 6:15pm.


Carnoustie Theatre Club Pantomime                                              04/12/06

Carnoustie Theatre Club's pantomime this year is "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" by Stephen Duckam. As usual this show will take place in Carnoustie High School's Theatre.

Tickets priced at £6 for school children and £7 pounds for adults will be on sale to the general public from the Fobel Shop Queen St Carnoustie from Mid November.

Please note there will also be a matinee performance on Saturday 9th December starting at 2:30pm

2007 Carnoustie Open                                                                 04/12/06

In July 2007, Carnoustie plays host to its seventh Open Championship

“We are delighted that Carnoustie has been selected to stage the 2007 Open and feel sure that our Links Superintendent, John Philp, and his team will have the course in exceptional condition in time for the Championship,” said Gordon Murray, Chairman of the Championship Committee.

The Open will run from the 19 - 22 July
